Scholarships are available to help you earn as many as 7 top cyber certifications: CISSP | CISA | CISM | CGRC | Cloud+ | CCRMP | CC
The Virginia Community College System (VCCS) launched scholarships covering the costs of online preparation and exams for certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, Cloud+, CC, CGRC, and CCRMP, with coverage of up to 100%. VCCS offers these scholarships to help address Virginia’s cybersecurity talent shortage.
For these certifications, the scholarships include:
- Live online certification prep
- Certification exams
- Virtual hands-on labs
- Weekly exam prep coaching
- Cyber career coaching and tools
- Practice exams
- Certified, senior cyber practitioner instructors
- Academic credit
We are pleased to share that with the support of SCIPP year-to-date 2024, individuals have received a significant total of over $500,000 in funding for cyber training and certifications, thanks to the valuable support of VCCS in addressing the cybersecurity talent gap in Virginia. We are excited to announce that we are poised to double this amount for communities in Virginia, including yours, in the second quarter.
